La gente est\u00e1 viendo un Gobierno de carne y hueso, que no lo ha tenido f\u00e1cil pero que siempre ha estado ah\u00ed, dando la cara\u201d, ha manifestado Torres este s\u00e1bado durante su intervenci\u00f3n en el 14\u00ba Congreso de los socialistas gomeros, en el que el reelegido secretario insular,\u00a0<b>\u00c1ngel Fari\u00f1a<\/b>, ha presentado a su nueva comisi\u00f3n ejecutiva insular.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"es\" dir=\"ltr\">Con el Congreso de <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PSOELaGomera?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@PSOELaGomera<\/a> culminan los procesos insulares de <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PSOECanarias?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@PSOECanarias<\/a>.<br \/>Mi agradecimiento a la militancia gomera, a <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Afarchi26ACPMN?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@Afarchi26ACPMN<\/a> y a su equipo. Seguiremos cambiando a mejor Canarias, y lo haremos compartiendo la traves\u00eda, en el mismo barco y con el mismo objetivo. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/KJ8cK488KQ\">pic.twitter.com\/KJ8cK488KQ<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; \u00c1ngel V\u00edctor Torres P\u00e9rez (@avtorresp) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/avtorresp\/status\/1553411138683011072?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 30, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">El Congreso, celebrado en el Centro de Visitantes de San Sebasti\u00e1n de La Gomera, ha contado tambi\u00e9n con la participaci\u00f3n de la vicesecretaria socialista y consejera del Gobierno de Canarias,\u00a0<b>Elena M\u00e1\u00f1ez<\/b>, que ha intervenido en el acto de clausura.\u00a0La representaci\u00f3n de la Ejecutiva regional la completaron\u00a0<b>Manuel Fumero<\/b>\u00a0(adjunto a Organizaci\u00f3n),\u00a0<b>Manuel Ram\u00f3n Plasencia<\/b>\u00a0(alcalde de Alajer\u00f3) y\u00a0<b>Ventura del Carmen Rodr\u00edguez<\/b>\u00a0(diputada regional).\u00a0<\/span>La secretaria de Organizaci\u00f3n,\u00a0<b>Nira Fierro<\/b>, ha sido baja esta vez debido a una indisposici\u00f3n de \u00faltima hora.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Torres ha tenido palabras de especial agradecimiento para los militantes del partido en La Gomera. \u201cEsta isla es lo que es gracias tambi\u00e9n al Partido Socialista y eso la historia no lo podr\u00e1 cambiar\u201d. Y se ha referido a su compromiso de legislatura: \u201cCanarias es hoy mejor de la que recibimos en 2019. No es una promesa, es ya una realidad\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">El secretario general socialista ha hecho un repaso por los avances conseguidos en dependencia, sanidad, educaci\u00f3n, vivienda, becas y ayudas al sector primario, y ha celebrado especialmente los datos en empleo y ocupaci\u00f3n tur\u00edstica que actualmente presenta Canarias.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Ha pedido \u201cunidad\u201d y \u201cmovilizaci\u00f3n\u201d de la organizaci\u00f3n en todas las islas para afrontar con garant\u00edas la recta final de estos dif\u00edciles a\u00f1os de gobierno, ya que el objetivo para la pr\u00f3xima cita electoral debe ser \u201cconsolidar los n\u00fameros obtenidos\u201d y, a ser posible, \u201cincrementar\u201d ese apoyo ciudadano. &#8220;Canarias nos sigue necesitando en el gobierno\u201d, ha
